I love the prices, convenience, and how quick the car washes are at Washman! You can also DIY with the convenience of vacuums and stations, plus detail work can be done at most of their locations. Since I've been in Portland I've had the car washed three times and have been satisfied every time!
I drive across town just to take my car here. They do a really great job, especially for the price. Better than any $50+ car wash I've been to. I have to wipe down some of the tighter spaces after I get home, but for $22 and the time they really do an exceptional job. Staff is always nice too. I always tip them $10. I'm willing to bet the people complaining about their service expected a $150 for $20 and don't tip. Take your car elsewhere.
Bought a new 2010 Ford explorer that now needs a new windshield due to a ton of tiny chips in it now. Also my paint job got murked. If you want your car scuffed up for free with no accountability, come here. Have pics. Won't let me post em.
Most employees don't care enough to give proper customer service with a smile, but who could blame them, it's a terrible job for terrible pay. Wash is always good and dryers are friendly (tips probably?). Go here and get a car wash, just expect the first couple employees to be aloof.
Tried to get my truck detailed at noon and they told me they wouldn't have time to get to it when they were open for several more hours. The guy told me to come at 730am the next day so I would be the first in line. Got there the next morning and the employee rudely said "what are you doing here? We don't open till 8oclock". Then told me that I couldn't get my truck detailed because they were short handed. Sounds like they need to hire some more employees. Consumers beware, they will only detail your vehicle when it's convenient for them. Poor customer service.
