I have never felt so disrespected, especially when paying over $700 for service. I will never go to a JR Furniture again and will spread the word about the awful experience I had. I do feel as if my concerns for not receiving what I paid for were shrugged off since we are young and minorities, which also made this experience more hurtful.

I purchased a queen bed that was part of their Labor Day sell and an awesome bed frame that was a "manager special" my total order was $680, which I paid via debit card. It was at closing time so I told them we could come back tomorrow or have it delivered and was told that it was no problem. I call the next day to ask for delivery, I am told it is $89 and doesn't include any setup just drop off. According to my sales guy, Ryan Bailey, the bed is super easy to set up and I won't even need tools so I agree. (Which was a lie, the bed has several screws and pieces that require actual tools.) Delivery goes well. Then I try to put the bed together and the footboard is missing and has been replaced by a completely different color piece. My partner call our sales guy Ryan Bailey and tells him that we are missing a piece, he tells us he will check into it and call us back. He doesn't call back. When we call again he promises that they will come tomorrow morning and put together the bed using the piece from the display. Tomorrow comes and no one ever shows, my partner calls and Ryan says he will call back. Ryan doesn't call back so my partner calls again, this time understandably frustrated as we wasted our day waiting for someone who never came. Ryan ends up hanging up on my partner and my partner calls back to speak with the manager. We requested them to pick up the whole order and refund our money. They refused but offered to send someone to drop off the piece again. They also refused to refund the delivery fee, claiming they must speak to corporate about that.

Jim was great. Helped us get some nice bunk beds at a great price. We will definitely be back

Mike was really nice & patient. He didn't get upset when my 3 year old started climbing on the mattresses. Hopefully delivery & set-up will be stress-free as well

This is truly the worst customer service experience I have ever had with a furniture company. It is disappointing considering I bought a bed from the Hillsboro location 2 years ago and had a wonderful experience. The only reason I chose to buy from them in the first place.
